Sarah, chief grower (and weeder) at Bloom Bay Flower Farm in Boston, Virginia, has always loved flowers but didn’t begin growing cut flowers until the pandemic – and she’s never looked back! Partnering with local businesses to host pop-up shops and bouquet classes, Bloom Bay offers 100% locally grown, custom floral arrangements and a monthly fresh cut flower subscription from April through November. Believing everyone should have access to fresh flowers, Sarah also makes regular floral donations to the Culpeper Food Closet.

Established in 2019 with a love for flowers and a commitment to the community, Culpeper Cut Flower Farm initially began by providing locally grown blooms to area florists—and we still do! In 2023, we expanded to offer a “You-Pick” experience, inviting visitors to enjoy our farm’s beauty and cut their own bouquets.

Our farm operates on the honor system, with convenient payment options in our shop on the hill. Open from April through October, we offer a range of seasonal, organically grown flowers, including favorites like dahlias, eucalyptus, celosia, zinnias, and more. Supplies are available in the shop, so you can come out, relax, and create a bouquet to take home. We’re open Friday evenings and all weekend (8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.) and located just seven minutes from the downtown Farmers Market.
